Welcome to the Scholarships, Awards & Bursaries listing for Kwantlen Polytechnic University.

This Awards Guide contains a listing of scholarships, awards and bursaries offered at KPU, their selection criteria and application periods for the 2022 calendar year.

Additional information on eligibility criteria, program and award amount are available by clicking on each individual award name.

PLEASE NOTE: Award criteria highlighted in "GREEN" require additional/specific documentation in order to be considered for that award. All additional documentation, including reference letters, must be emailed to awards@kpu.ca labelled as your Last Name_First Name_GEN.

The information contained in this guide is subject to change and the availability of funding each year.

Most General Award recipients are chosen either through adjudication by the KPU Scholarships & Awards Selection committee/s, through department/faculty recommendations, or by reporting methods. With a few exceptions, students MUST be returning in the Fall term to receive award funds.

Unless otherwise stated, upon confirmation of enrolment in the Fall term, all awards will be disbursed in October. Students are expected to pay for their tuition by the published tuition payment deadline to avoid late fees/penalties.

Note: Online award applications are available to KPU students registered in the Spring term, through the KPU online self-service (OSS) portal. Only one application is required to be considered for various General Awards (including Melville School of Business, if applicable).

Successful applicants will be notified through their KPU email before disbursement of awards via check in the mail in October 2022. Therefore, please ensure your mailing address is current/up-to-date to prevent delay or loss of the award in the mail.

Online application for the 2022 KPU General awards is open until March 15, 2022.

Please direct all questions about this Award Guide to awards@kpu.ca.
